2027 Historical Society Maple Quilt Information
The Lunenburg Historical Society is seeking quilt squares for their 2027 quilt raffle. The completed quilt will make its debut at the 2027 Maple Festival - our 20th!
If you would like to contribute to this quilt, please plan your creation(s) according to these “rules”:
1. Create a 13-inch square quilt block which features a “Springtime in Vermont” theme within the 12-inch square area. (The half-inch on all edges provides a seam allowance.)
2. Create the block from 100% cotton material.
3. Any quilt pattern, applique block or pieced block, hand or machine stitched, may be used.
4. The appliqué block should use a 13-inch square of material to which another fabric has been added. The pieced block should use pieces of material to create a 13-inch square.
5. Please include your name, age, address, and phone number with your piece(s). On the back of the completed quilt, there will be notation identifying the name and town of the creator of each block.
