Gingerbread Bazaar – sponsored by the Top of the Common Committee

Your space:
The TOCC provides a vendor space for a 6-ft table and up to two chairs. Bring your own table or request that the TOCC supply one. A few spaces have electricity. The doors open to vendors at 8 a.m.; you are free to come whenever you need to in order to be set up by 9:30. You should enter the building through the main door WITHOUT your product to sign in and be assigned your space location and which door to use during your set-up. If you need some help, it will be available upon your request. The Bazaar opens to the public at 10 a.m. but our vendors and volunteers like the opportunity to shop, too!
Your products:
This event is our Christmas Bazaar, so your products should be gift or Christmas theme items. Because we are a community event, we suggest you offer a wide price range of products, providing items that can be purchased by our young shoppers, those on fixed incomes, and those with substantial discretionary funds. We also have a few "restrictions" of our vendors’ products - no baked items, fudge, flea market items, and only one representative from a "home party" line, like Scentsy. Both our visitors and vendors have appreciated our efforts to not have duplicate products offered at our Bazaar, so we will need to know what you're planning on offering. With our intentional placement of your space, we help our visitors to view your table in a "fresh way", not one of three vendors in a row with similar products (i.e. tree ornaments).
Table placement:
Your table will be placed tight up against the wall with the number of chairs you requested placed on the table end(s). Due to fire regulations, your products need to remain within the confines of your table, though you may go up as high as you like and store items under the table. Often vendors have shelving, display boxes, etc. on the table, which are fine. It would help in assigning your location to know if you will have such things, so we can avoid any wall obstructions, like fire extinguishers.

Event promotion:
A sincere effort is made to widely publicize our Bazaar. We use local newspapers, flyers, internet event listing sites, Front Porch Forum, our town website, and our website. On our website a vendor page is linked to the tabbed Gingerbread Bazaar main page. It will contain your name (with business name if you have one), photo(s) of your products, contact information, and a link to any Internet presence you have. Please send any of these you'd like included to the email address given above. We welcome your linking of our Bazaar web page to your Internet platforms.
Registration Form:
Each vendor should complete a registration form, supplying it to the TOCC along with the fee for your space(s). It will request your name (company name if applicable), address, phone number, need for electricity and/or clear wall space, number of chairs, table to be supplied by you or the TOCC, and description of your products.
NOTE: If you don't have the means to print the registration form, copies are available at Town Clerk's office, Alden Balch library, and Victory Lane Auto. Check the Gingerbread main webpage for other locations that may become available.
